John runs/is the production company Papa Durbin Studios. He has helpers in stuff he does, most notably Logan Hall with the film.
Papa Durbin Studios began in 2000 when John got a four track tape recorder and a mic. Since then he has recorded things for himself and friends. The Studios (what the cool kids call it) got its official name in 2002. Since then the scope of Papa Durbin Studios has increased as different things needed to be made. Now there is a myriad of ways Papa Durbin Studios functions.
Music: The focus of Papa Durbin Studios. Has produced music for Hanna Lopatin, Skeezor's Revenge, Jeremy Halcote, and other things.
Film: A short comedy film is in the works from Papa Durbin Studios. one of the few portions of the company that involves multiple people, specifically, Logan Hall.
Photo: In addition to music, Papa Durbins Studios can also create album covers, show posters, logos and just other art type things.
Websites: Papa Durbin Studios is responsible for this site. Their crew (John) is getting better and better with the software as this is the first site ever built. Once he learns flash... wow... then ... yeah...
