Fried Green Durbins' shows, in their young history,
have already run the gamut. The duo initially
utilized offstage voice recordings and video in their
shows. As they performed more and more, they often
found themselves performing without any sort of tech
and oftentimes preferring it. This has left the
tandem in the unique position to be able to have tech
heavy shows where they will go so far as to interact
with video versions of themselves or to be as
barebones as doing shows without light cues or music
between scenes.

Fried Green Durbins has become known for their ability
to write blackouts and short scenes. Just as well
known is their ability to write cohesive shows that
advance one theme. Rarely will the pair do a show
that feels like it is simply a collection of random
scenes.
